Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has officially signed an order for the celebration of the 130th anniversary of Aziz Aliyev, a notable Azerbaijani statesman and scholar. The commemoration is set to occur in January 2027.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the presidential order mandates the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to create and execute a comprehensive plan of events to honor Aziz Aliyev's legacy. The Cabinet of Ministers is also directed to undertake the necessary actions as specified in the order.
