Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union during a joint press statement with President of the European Council Ant³nio Costa. He highlighted the importance of the visit and expressed confidence that it would significantly contribute to the advancement of bilateral ties.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev underscored the active dialogue and cooperation between the two entities, noting that the relationship is currently in a very active phase.
