Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order ratifying the 'State Program on Improvement of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030.' The program is designed to enhance the statistical framework in the country, focusing on the preparation and improvement of statistical indicators and methodologies across different sectors of the economy.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the program includes the conduct of surveys and dissemination of collected statistical data. It aims to bolster the legal and informational support of statistical production, enhance international cooperation, and improve the material and technical base of statistical bodies. The initiative also focuses on developing human resources and identifying strategic development priorities for the national statistical system to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of tasks facing official statistics.
