BAKU: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on approving the 'model regulations on tourist and recreational zones' and amending several decrees and orders of the President of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. According to the amendments, the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan is the central executive body implementing state policy and regulation in the field of tourism, including the activities of tourist and recreational zones and the protection of historical and cultural monuments located in the territories under its jurisdiction.
