Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a law approving the ‘Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports.’

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreement was signed on September 25, 2025, in New York, United States. This agreement signifies a step forward in diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, facilitating easier travel for diplomatic representatives of both nations.
