Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced that the Southern Gas Corridor is currently operating at its full capacity. He made this statement during a meeting with participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum. The President emphasized the importance of finding new destinations for gas distribution through different interconnectors, given that the primary pipeline is fully utilized.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the necessity of securing funds to expand the pipeline’s capacity. He expressed hope that European institutions would reconsider their policies to facilitate the attraction of necessary investments. The President suggested that under favorable circumstances, what appears to be a completed project today could further develop, indicating potential growth in the infrastructure’s reach and capabilities.
