Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic for a state visit on July 30. A guard of honor was lined up at the Issyk-Kul International Airport in the city of Cholpon-Ata to welcome the Azerbaijani head of state.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and First Lady Aigul Zhaparova. The visit emphasizes the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, with both nations' leaders engaging in discussions expected to cover bilateral cooperation and regional matters.
