Washington: ‘We are trying to become a stronger transit country,’ said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the Azerbaijani press, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the importance of enhancing the country’s role in international cargo transportation. ‘We want the corridors crossing our territory to be more engaged in cargo transportation. This brings money, jobs, and political leverage,’ the head of state emphasized.
