President of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister of Georgia Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Press Statements

Tbilisi: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze delivered press statements in Tbilisi on April 6. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze made the statement first.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Prime Minister Kobakhidze warmly welcomed President Aliyev and expressed gratitude for his visit to Georgia. He highlighted the historical friendship between the two nations and emphasized the strong strategic partnership that continues to develop across various sectors. Kobakhidze thanked Azerbaijan for its support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and reiterated Georgia's commitment to advocating for Azerbaijan's national interests. He also expressed Georgia's willingness to facilitate regional peace processes and emphasized the importance of cooperation among South Caucasus countries.

President Ilham Aliyev, in his statement, expressed appreciation for the invitation and hospitality extended by Prime Minister Kobakhidze. He reiterated the longstanding friendship and brotherhood between Georgia and Azerbaijan and acknowledged Georgia's dynamic economic development. Aliyev noted the favorable investment climate in Georgia, which has attracted significant Azerbaijani investments.
