Rome: President Ilham Aliyev has underscored Azerbaijan’s significant role in contributing to the energy security of numerous countries. During a joint press statement with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, President Aliyev highlighted the strategic initiatives undertaken in collaboration with Italy.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani head of state emphasized the importance of the projects implemented in the energy sector, particularly focusing on the export of Azerbaijan’s oil and gas to Italy. President Aliyev noted that through these efforts, Azerbaijan has successfully supplied substantial volumes of its natural resources to global markets.

President Aliyev further reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing energy security for multiple countries, showcasing the nation’s pivotal role in the international energy landscape.
