Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has arrived in Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan. The Azerbaijani leader is in Tashkent to participate in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev was greeted with a guard of honor at Tashkent International Airport. The welcoming delegation was led by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdualla Aripov, along with other officials. The meeting is expected to focus on regional cooperation and strategic partnerships among the Central Asian states.
