Baku: President of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, Francina Armengol Socias, arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on January 22, as informed by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijani Parliament to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Spanish parliamentary delegation was received at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The reception was marked by the display of both nations' flags and was attended by Head of the Milli Majlis Working Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with Spain, Sevil Mikayilova, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Spain, Ramiz Hasanov, Spain's Ambassador to Trkiye and Azerbaijan, Cristina Latorre, Charge d'Affaires to Azerbaijan, Jos© Pedro Torrubia, and other officials.

The agenda for Francina Armengol Socias includes several meetings with Azerbaijani officials. These meetings are expected to facilitate discussions on the future development of bilateral relations between Spain and Azerbaijan.
