Pretoria: Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, has addressed a letter of congratulation to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter conveyed warm greetings and sincere congratulations from the Government and people of South Africa to the Government and people of Azerbaijan. President Ramaphosa expressed his best wishes for President Aliyev’s good health and highlighted the desire to enhance and consolidate the friendship between the two countries.

The letter reflects the strong diplomatic relations shared by South Africa and Azerbaijan, emphasizing mutual respect and cooperation. President Ramaphosa concluded with assurances of his highest consideration for President Aliyev.
