Baku: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for a state visit. A guard of honor was organized at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the premises were adorned with the national flags of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Mirziyoyev was greeted by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov and Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, along with other officials. The visit marks a significant diplomatic engagement between the two countries, emphasizing the strengthening of bilateral relations.
