Baku: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 17 to participate in the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13). The event is expected to bring together leaders and experts to discuss urban development challenges and solutions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Mirziyoyev was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, along with other officials. The visit underscores the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, especially in discussions surrounding urbanization and sustainable development.
