Gabala: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of unity among Turkic states during his address at the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States. He highlighted the significance of peace and security as essential foundations for the development of any country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev addressed the current geopolitical and security challenges worldwide, stressing the necessity for Turkic states to unite as a single center of power. He referenced the Garabagh Declaration, adopted at last year’s informal summit in Shusha, as a guiding framework. The theme of the current summit, ‘Regional peace and security,’ further underscored the urgency of this unity.
