Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan stands firmly with Azerbaijan amidst recent attacks on the country. 'We express our serious concern over the recent attacks on the brotherly country of Azerbaijan,' the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan said on X.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan's support for Azerbaijan's leadership and people, condemning the actions that could lead to further escalation and threaten regional peace. He urged all parties to exercise restraint and highlighted the importance of de-escalating tensions through dialogue and diplomacy to maintain regional stability.
