Problem of fake news manifests itself in the easiest and fastest forms thanks to technological development

'There is a great demand for verified news. The problem of fake news has been further aggravated by social media, manifesting itself in the easiest and fastest forms thanks to technological development,' Vugar Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC said during the 1st meeting of the Executive Committee of the Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) held as part of the 2nd Global Media Forum. According to the Chairman, the fight against disinformation and fake news has become one of the key activities of the media. It is no coincidence that this is the main topic of the Shusha Global Forum. 'This being the case, the fight against fake news generated by artificial intelligence is already in the media's spotlight. In the last year alone, hundreds of AI-based software applications have been launched, making it possible to create photos, videos, and any texts. To do this, it is enough to enter the necessary parameters into these applications. ATNA can also become a kind of academy for our journalists,' Vu gar Aliyev added.
