Problem with Train Movement in Baku Metro Resolved

Baku: Train movement on the Red Line of the Baku Metro has been ensured in accordance with the scheduled intervals, APA-Economics reports, citing Baku Metro CJSC.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, train services on the Baku Metro were disrupted on Sunday morning. Witnesses reported that train movement was suspended for more than 15 minutes, and entry to the Gara Garayev station had been temporarily restricted. Passengers were asked to leave trains at some stations during the disruption.

Baku Metro CJSC clarified that a train malfunction occurred near the entrance to the Icherisheher station. A support train was deployed to remove the faulty train from the line. The company assured that normal train intervals on the Red Line would be restored shortly.

Meanwhile, trains on the Green and Purple lines are operating according to schedule, with no dangerous or serious issues causing concern, the company added. Baku Metro stated it would provide further information regarding the incident as it becomes available.
