Profit of Kyrgyzstan’s Manas International Airport Shows Significant Growth


BISHKEK – Manas International Airport in Kyrgyzstan has experienced a substantial rise in profits,
According to Trend News Agency, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports. Japarov shared the update during the arrival ceremony of a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft purchased for Asman Airlines, a subsidiary of Manas International Airport.



Japarov noted that the airport’s net profit increased from 2.108 billion soms ($25 million) in 2019 to over 6 billion soms ($71.2 million) in 2023. The company’s investment income reached 5.368 billion soms ($63.7 million), which enabled the acquisition of two Q400 aircraft and one Beechcraft King Air 360. Additionally, the company has seen a 41 percent growth in passenger traffic between 2021 and 2023, reaching 5.6 million passengers.



Japarov also highlighted ongoing airport renovations in regional areas and discussions for a new international airport in the Jalal-Abad region.
