Program Officer of Uganda’s SSA Highlights Potential Benefits from Azerbaijan’s Urban Planning Experience

Baku: 'The main purpose of our participation in the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) is to learn from the experiences of different countries in the field of urban planning and housing provision, to share successful practices, and to identify joint solutions for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,' said Brian Paul Odella, Program Officer of Uganda's Shelter and Settlements Alternatives (SSA), in an interview with AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Odella noted that Uganda aims to benefit from international experience in urban development. 'We observed that wide roads and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure have been created in Azerbaijan. As a developing country, Uganda can benefit from this experience.
