Baku: The projected minimum living standards in Azerbaijan for 2026-2029 have been announced, APA reports. Speaking at the joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees on Labor and Social Policy and Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, held to discuss the ‘2026 State Budget Package of the Republic of Azerbaijan,’ Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli stated that the proposed nationwide minimum living standards for 2026-2029 are 300, 311, 325, and 338 manats, respectively.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the announcement was made as part of a broader discussion on the country’s state budget for 2026. The proposed standards indicate a gradual increase over the four-year period, reflecting the government’s plans to adjust the minimum living standards in response to economic conditions.
