Prosecutor General: “Bodies were found during excavations and certain investigative measures in the liberated territories”

“We had about 4 thousand people who went missing in the First Karabakh War, and we have already started working to clarify their fate,” said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, APA reports.

Prosecutor General added that bodies had been found during excavations and certain investigative measures in the liberated areas from occupation: “Unknown graves are opened to identify those found dead. Samples are taken from the relatives of the missing persons. Our ultimate goal is to identify people missing during the First Karabakh War and return their bodies to their families.”
