According to the decision of the Scientific Council, a Psychological Service Centre has been established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

The Psychological Service Centre will operate in order to increase the academic achievements of students studying at UNEC, form a positive behaviour model, create a safe and healthy environment at the university, and support the moral and psychological health of employees and students.

The provision of psychological protection for employees and students, prevention of possible emotional and mental crises, and pre-exam stress will be the main activities of the Center. At the same time, within the framework of psychological examination in the Center, systematic measures will be taken to study the individual psychological characteristics, potential opportunities, inclinations and interests of the students, as well as to determine the causes of difficulties in socialization. Relevant works will be carried out together with the academic staff in order to form and maintain a healthy moral and psychological environment at the university, to constantly study the needs in order to effectively organize the educational process and to increase the social skills of the students.
