Rector of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, was awarded the “Jubilee Badge” for his services to the trade union movement in connection with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan. Rector was presented with this award by the decision of the Presidium of the ATIAHI Republican Committee (Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan).
The “Jubilee Badge” was presented to Rector Vilayat Valiyev by Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the ATIAHI Republican Committee.
- Jafarzade thanked Rector V. Valiyev for his support and services to the trade union movement, he expressed confidence that the cooperation between ATIAHI and AzTU will continue to develop in the future.
Rector Vilayat Valiyev thanked the leadership of the ATIAHI Republican Committee for the trust and attention given to him.
Also at the event, a memorable gift was presented to the Vice-rector for Science and Innovation AZT Chetin Elmas for his services in the creation and development of the international Eurasian Union of Trade Unions of Educational Workers.
