Baku: Over the past 24 hours, a decrease has been observed in the prices of major assets in the cryptocurrency market, APA-Economics reports. The price of Bitcoin, the market leader, decreased by 0.40% to $68,815. Similarly, Ethereum experienced a reduction of 0.85%, bringing its price down to $2,111.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a mostly negative dynamic was also recorded in other major cryptocurrencies. The price of BNB decreased by 0.05% to $599, Bitcoin Cash fell by 0.07% to $432, and Monero saw a decline of 0.93% to $325. Despite the overall downward trend, there were some assets that exhibited an increase. The price of Zcash rose by 0.91% to $256. Among gold-indexed assets, PAX Gold increased by 0.19% to $4,640, and Tether Gold rose by 0.20% to $4,625.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization decreased by 0.67% to $2.35 trillion. Analysts attribute the decline in prices to the partial exit of market participants from risky assets, geopolitical tensions, and uncertainties related to monetary policy.
