Relatives of First Karabakh War Missing Visit Azerbaijan’s Liberated Territories

BAKU: A group of 40 individuals whose relatives went missing during the First Karabakh War recently visited several areas in Azerbaijan that were liberated from occupation.

According to Trend News Agency, the organized trip included stops at significant sites such as the Alley of Martyrs in Aghdam and Khojaly, and the cities of Khankendi and Shusha. The expedition was facilitated by the Public Union of Families of Missing Persons in Karabakh, which supports families affected by the conflict. Participants paid their respects at the destroyed graves in the Alley of Martyrs and called on international organizations to help ascertain the fate of their missing loved ones. The visit also included a journey to the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque in Shusha, highlighting the cultural and religious importance of the area to the visitors.
