Goychay: The remains of martyr Aydin Nariman oglu Nuriyev, who disappeared during the First Karabakh War, have been returned to his family in the village of Mirti, Goychay district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a farewell ceremony was organized for the martyr in the presence of representatives from the Goychay District Executive Authority, members of the community, villagers, families of martyrs, veterans, and relatives of Aydin Nuriyev. Following the funeral prayer, Aydin Nuriyev’s remains were interred at the Mirti village cemetery.

It is noted that Aydin Nuriyev was born in 1966 in the village of Miri in the Goychay district. In 1992, he actively participated in battles as part of the Khojaly volunteer defense battalion and was declared missing on February 26, 1992, in Khojaly.
