Remains of martyr Elshan Khasiyev, found 30 years later in Azerbaijan’s Ganja, were laid to rest in Baku-PHOTO

The remains of the martyr Elshan Nazarali Khasiyev, who went missing in the First Garabagh War and whose burial place and identity were determined after 30 years, were laid to rest, APA reports.

Farewell ceremony was held for martyr Elshan Khasiyev in Zabrat settlement of Sabunchu district.

The remains of the martyr were buried in the Alley of Martyrs located in Bakikhanov settlement.

It should be noted that Elshan Khasiyev, who was presumed to gone missing in the First Garabagh War, was found buried as an unknown martyr in Martyrs’ Alley in Ganja, and his identity was determined.
