Lerik: The remains of Nail Fahil oglu Danziyev, a soldier who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family in Lerik, APA's southern bureau reports. A farewell ceremony was held for Danziyev, who went missing in September 1992 during the fighting in the Sirkhavand direction.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, representatives of the Lerik district community, families of martyrs, and local residents attended the ceremony. The event saw a gathering of individuals who came together to pay their respects and honor the memory of the fallen soldier.
The martyr's remains were laid to rest at the cemetery in Mastail village. The burial marked the end of a long wait for the family, providing a sense of closure after years of uncertainty regarding Danziyev's fate.
Nail Fahil oglu Danziyev was born in 1974 in the village of Mastail in Lerik district. His service and subsequent disappearance during the conflict have been remembered and honored by the local community.
