A remembrance Day ceremony dedicated to the memory of martyrs of the Patriotic War has been held in the Academy of Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), APA reports.

Chief of the Academy, Major-General Baba Salayev, Head of Surakhani District Executive Aziz Azizov, parents of martyrs, veterans, and representatives of the district community have attended the ceremony. The ceremony has begun with the sound of the national anthem of Azerbaijan, and later souls of martyrs have been commemorated with a minute of silence.
