The agile rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations being in Türkiye in accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, continue the operations of elimination of consequences of the devastating earthquake, and search and rescue due it unceasingly.
Thus, as the result of search and rescue operations carried out by the rescuers of the Azerbaijani MES in Kahramanmarash region which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, 53 people were pulled alive from the rubble and 729 bodies were handed over appropriately.
Search and rescue operations are continued with the use of special technical means, as well as rescue dogs.
