A resident of the village of Mardakan was detained in connection with false calls about a bomb at a local school.

On October 29 the service “102” received a call with a message about the installation of a bomb on the roof of one of the schools in the Mardakan settlement of the Khazar region of Baku,the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The police took measures, but the information was not confirmed.

As a result of operational-search activities, the identity of the caller was established. It is a previously convicted resident of the Mardakan settlement, 36 years old R. Mammadov.

He was detained, a criminal case under the Article 216 (knowingly false reporting of an act of terrorism). The attacker faces from 5 to 8 years in prison.
