Bucharest: Romanian President Nicu?or Dan has conveyed a letter of congratulation to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan in honor of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Dan's letter expressed warm congratulations and extended wishes for prosperity and peace to the people of Azerbaijan. He emphasized the strong and strategic relationship between Romania and Azerbaijan, highlighting Azerbaijan as a reliable friend and partner in the South Caucasus region.

President Dan acknowledged President Aliyev's ongoing efforts to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus, which he noted would help unlock the region's extraordinary potential. He affirmed Romania's commitment to supporting the continued and robust development of dialogue between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

In his letter, President Dan also invited President Aliyev to visit Romania to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between the two countries in areas of mutual interest. The letter concluded with assurances of high regard from President Dan to President Aliyev.
