Access to forests has been banned in a number of areas in Nizhegorod region of Russia, APA reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Nijegorod Region.

The ban on access to forests has been imposed in 26 regions. The ban will last until August 29 due to fire danger and hot and dry weather.
