Moscow: The Russian government has extended a temporary ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and other fuels, TASS writes, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, APA-Economics reports. The recent decree prolongs the export restrictions of motor gasoline outside the country until February 28, 2026. This measure will be applicable to all entities, including direct producers.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree also extends the ban on the export of marine fuel, diesel fuel, and other gas oils, even those acquired on the exchange, until February 28, 2026. However, this restriction will not apply to direct producers of petroleum products. The enforcement of these regulations will begin on December 28. The government has introduced these measures to ensure stability in the domestic fuel market.
