MOSCOW: Russia has significantly escalated its production of tank ammunition, increasing output by 30 times in 2023, according to Sergey Chemezov, the general director of Rostex state corporation, as reported by APA’s Russian bureau.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Chemezov also reported a six-fold increase in the production of artillery ammunition. Additionally, the production of projectiles for rocket launchers has been expanded several times over. These developments reflect a substantial boost in Russia’s military manufacturing capabilities.

Chemezov further outlined Rostex’s future plans, indicating that the corporation aims to triple the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) intended for special military operations by the end of 2024. This strategy suggests a continued emphasis on enhancing military resources and technological capabilities.
