Russia lifts several pandemic bans

Russian authorities lifted restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, including the mask regime and the ban on catering establishments working at night, Rospotrebnadzor released information, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“Due to the constant decrease in the intensity of the epidemiological process, Rospotrebnadzor suspends the previously applied restrictions, including the mask regime, the ban on night operation of catering facilities and a number of other measures,” the agency’s press service said.

Russia has been experiencing a continuous decrease in the intensity of the COVID-19 epidemic process for the last four months. The weekly incidence rate has fallen more than 64 times from its peak in mid-February and now stands at its lowest level since the start of the pandemic.
