Russia sees noteworthy potential in implementing the Zangazur Corridor project to move towards the normalization of the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“Restoration project of the transport route which connects Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic while passing through the Armenian territory is considered. We see noteworthy progress potential in implementing this project towards the normalization of the relations between Yerevan and Baku. Of course, everything depends on the political will of the countries and readiness to reach concrete agreements,” she said.
