Russia to Deliver 13 Tons of Medical Supplies to Iran via Azerbaijan

Moscow: The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM) has announced plans to dispatch medical supplies to Azerbaijan, which will then be delivered to Iran. This initiative involves a special flight organized by the ministry's aviation unit.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the humanitarian aid delivery was initiated following instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin and an order from EMERCOM Minister Alexander Kurenkov. The aid package comprises 13 tons of medical supplies intended for transfer to authorized representatives of the Iranian government.
