Moscow: The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) will implement a new state standard (GOST) for oil, marking the first such update in 25 years. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, one of the primary changes includes revising indicators that impact safety in the circulation, supply, and transportation of oil. The new standard is set to become effective in January 2027, replacing the previous guidelines established in 2002.
