Moscow: Russia has yet to receive a formal response from the United States to its proposal to adhere to the limits of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START), noted in a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the expiration of the Russian-American START Treaty.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Russian diplomatic department emphasized that "any formalized official response from the United States to the Russian initiative through bilateral channels has not been received." This statement highlights the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future of arms control between the two nations as the treaty's expiration looms.
