European Council President Charles Michel condemned on Monday Russia’s “horrendous attacks” on cities across Ukraine, stating that they “show the desperation of the Kremlin,” APA reports citing Tele Trader.

He also stressed that “these indiscriminate attacks on civilians are war crimes.”

Michel reaffirmed the European Union’s support for Ukraine and commitment to holding Russia accountable, adding that the bloc will address these issues at the emergency G7 meeting.
