Russia’s Wildberries Sets Sights on Expanding in Tajikistan with New Action Plan


DUSHANBE: Russia’s Wildberries marketplace is set to develop an action plan for its activities in Tajikistan for the first half of 2025, as reported by Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce. The plan aims to bolster the presence of Tajik exporters on international markets through the Wildberries platform.

According to Trend News Agency, representatives from Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Wildberries have been engaged in discussions to strategize the enhancement of Tajik exporters’ visibility globally. The proposed action plan will incorporate a series of initiatives, including seminars, round tables, and business forums, to support the growth of Tajik businesses.

A significant development in these discussions was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Wildberries. This agreement was formalized during the Intergovernmental Commission meeting between Tajikistan and Russia, held on October 4, 2024, in Dushanbe.

The collaboration between the two parties aim
s to strengthen economic cooperation, supporting and fostering entrepreneurship in Tajikistan. The focus will be on the harmonious development of the economy and an increase in online business activity, highlighting the potential for growth in the digital marketplace sector.
