Baku: Salaries for more than 6,000 Azerbaijani teachers are set to increase by 35%.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Preschool and General Education State Agency has completed the certification process and interview stage for educators for the year 2025. Among the teachers who participated in the certification exam, 6,628 individuals scored 51 points or higher and will receive this significant salary increase.

The certification process also revealed that 11,316 participants achieved scores between 30 and 50 points. These teachers will benefit from a 10 percent salary increase. This move aims to recognize and reward the efforts of educators based on their performance in the certification exam.

Furthermore, training sessions will be organized for the 3,129 teachers who either did not succeed in the test or did not participate in the test and interview stages. This initiative is designed to support and prepare these teachers for future certification opportunities, ensuring that they also have the chance to enhance their skills and potentially earn salary increases in the future.
