Sanctions Imposed on Clinics for Surgeons Performing Outside Specialties

Baku:Administrative sanctions were imposed on 13 clinics in September, following findings that two general surgeons were performing plastic surgeries outside their official specialties.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, these cases resulted in the drafting of two protocols under Article 215.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which have been forwarded for further proceedings.

In addition to the protocols concerning plastic surgery, seven protocols relating to dental activities were also prepared during the same period. Five of these were drafted under Article 210.1, while two fell under Article 215.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The Analytical Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health has stated that monitoring efforts aimed at identifying and addressing legal violations in medical and aesthetic services are ongoing. The Center reviews citizens' appeals thoroughly and swiftly, taking appropriate measures in accordance with the law for any violations detected.
