Baku: The Sangachal Terminal, a central component of BP's global operations, has been officially acknowledged as the largest oil and gas processing terminal in the company's portfolio. This announcement was made by BP Transformation and Technology Manager Marianna Karimova during the 'Technovation - Science and Innovation for Sustainable Economic Transformation' event in Baku, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimova emphasized that BP is actively pursuing transformation processes in its operations within Azerbaijan, encompassing all key assets of the company. The Sangachal Terminal is not only the largest in BP's global network but also a strategic hub for the company's worldwide activities.

Karimova highlighted BP's utilization of advanced technologies in Azerbaijan, including smart drilling techniques, unmanned aerial vehicles, robotic systems, and digital twin solutions. These innovations are designed to enhance production efficiency, improve decision-making accuracy, and automate tasks that could pose risks to human workers.
