Baku:The sanitary protection zones for both Akhar-Bakhar and Ilisu National Parks in the Republic of Azerbaijan have been officially approved.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision regarding the establishment of these zones.

The decision outlines that the sanitary protection zone of Akhar-Bakhar National Park spans an area of 11,292.91 hectares, while the zone for Ilisu National Park covers an area of 10,108.00 hectares.
