BAKU: The assassination of Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran is a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and an attack on national security, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Walid bin Abdul Karim al-Khureiji said, Trend reports.

He said this while speaking at an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Jeddah.

Al-Khuraiji said Haniyeh’s killing in the Iranian capital was a “gross violation of Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security.”
