According to information of National Hydrometeorology Department of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources for January 8, speed northwest wind in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula which started from morning hours, has increased up to 20 m/s sometimes, while 23 m/s has been recorded in Altiaghaj, Department of Forecasts of National Hydrometeorology Department of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

Based on the information provided by the meteorological station of Oil Rocks, the height of the sea wave is 2.6 meters.
